Ampersand


A symbol denoting the word “and,” whose form is derived from the Latin “et.” (Thus “&amp;c.” for “etc.”) It is often considered the most interesting standard character in a typeface. In addition, typographers suggest using the best available ampersand rather than the default ampersand.</summary>
